Sherry thank you so much, this is a great question.

The short answer is, it depends. The type of implant procedure we choose, and your desired result will determine the overall cost of your implant. In addition, the amount and quality of bone you have will effect which type of implant we choose for you.

Think of it this way, if you don't exercise your muscles typically get smaller. Well, the same can happen with your bone. If your tooth has been missing for a long time, we may not have as much bone to work with. These are all considerations we discuss with you as we create a custom implant solution for your personal needs.

The most important thing to understand about today's implants are they are both affordable and produce a much better outcome than traditional implants. This is the direct result of our 3D cone beam x ray imaging which enables us to virtually see inside the bone to make sure that the implants are sized and placed for the best function and aesthetics.

To learn more about implants please call our office 828-274-3882. We would love to give you a tour of the office and show off our new technology.

Here are some links on our site of some implant testimonials, interviews and videos for some more information too.

How much do you charge for one implant? It is a lower tooth, second one from the back. Could you please also tell me the procedure to do this? Thank you in advance for your time, Sherry

The symptoms of periodontal disease can vary from bleeding gums to tooth loss. The best way to find out if you have perio disease is to visit a dentist for an evaluation. Some periodontal disease goes unnoticed, and therefore untreated, leading to mobile teeth and eventually tooth loss.
Not flossing can definitely contribute to gingivitis, decay, pain, and YES periodontal disease! Take a look at our various blogs posted on this issue, I think it could help. Happy flossing :)

If you are decay free and are satisfied with the shape and size of your teeth, YES, whitening would be your best route. It is fast, easy, and much more affordable that other alternative. Whitening can restore your white smile so you can spend your money on the fun stuff!

Just so you know, we do free whitening at the end of treatment with 6 Month Smiles. We have more information for you either on our 6 Month Smile website page, email or call us with any questions.

I have been told I am not a candidate for Lumineers because my teeth are too crowded. They said I would have to have some tooth removed to make room for veneers. The problem is that I am extremely anxious of the dentist and would prefer not to have any of my tooth removed. What do you think? Could you offer any sort of non-invasive alternative.
